Carol Lee Stonerock Curry, age 74, peacefully passed away from natural causes, with loved ones at her side, at her home in Pataskala, Ohio on October 1st, 2023. Carol was born on July 6th, 1949, in Columbus, Ohio. She graduated from South High School in 1967, and has maintained friendships with special classmates, throughout the years. Carol married the love of her life, her best friend, and her forever slow dance partner, Michael W. Curry, on May 30th, 1993. They began their 30 years, 4 months, and 1 day adventure together with their first dance to the special song “I Cross My Heart”, and they lived each and every day, recognizing and treating each other, as the miracle that makes their life complete. Their Love Story is one to be admired, and those who knew them were able to witness what True Love is. Carol was a Proud and Patriotic American. She held multiple chairs in the Ladies Auxiliary VFW, becoming District President, and she gained the title of Outstanding District President in 1991-1992. Carol also belonged to the Order of The Eastern Star providing Love, Friendship and Compassion to those in need. If you had the pleasure of knowing Carol, you were blessed to witness her Shining Spirit, her care and generosity, her true concern over the wellbeing of her Family and Friends. Carol loved her family and friends. She had the ability to make you feel truly loved and accepted. Also, her mischievous sense of humor kept us laughing, and on our toes. She loved playing cards, camping, fun gatherings, her doggies, traveling with Mike, and the Ohio State Buckeyes. Carol was preceded in death by her father, Lester Stonerock, her beloved mother, Erma Neff Stonerock, and her Pop, Earl Stonerock, as well as special family and friends, also her incredibly loved fur babies, Pepper, Shu-Shu, Mea, and Lucky. May they be sweetly reunited, playing in a field of green grass, with a lovely blue sky, under a bright and shining sun. Carol left behind her dearest husband, Michael W. Curry, her precious fur babies, Beau and Susy, many adored family members, and many cherished friends. “The best and most beautiful things in this world cannot be seen, or even touched.
