Candy H. (Drake) Gill

Candy H. Gill, 73, of Somerset, Ohio went to be with the Lord on July 10, 2023, after a long and courageous battle with breast cancer. She was born on September 14, 1949. Originally from Logan Ohio as a child, she lived in various places including the Virgin Islands, Columbus, Franklin, Lancaster and Somerset. She was preceded in death by her loving parents, John & Isabelle Drake. She is survived by her daughters, Ursula Wolfe, Elka Bowe, Ashley Harris and her son, Jonathan Foreman; Grandkids that she adored Leah Wolfe, Brandon von Rhein-Snell, Cody Bowe, Kelsie Bowe, Oliver Bowe, Caidance Harris, Marissa Harris, Ember Harris and Mya Harris. She was mom to anyone who needed one and some that didn’t. She was known for spontaneous trips to beaches and theme parks with her kids and anyone at the house with them. She was always telling jokes and a sense of humor was everything to her even through her cancer battle. Nobody could light up her face and make her smile the way her grandkids could though. No matter what was going on with her, she would put a smile on for them. Candy requested no funeral service be held.
