Bonnie Coleman Obituary

Bonnie G. (Mannon) Coleman, 77, of Thornville, Ohio, passed away peacefully on Sunday, May 3, 2020. Bonnie was born February 2, 1943 in Etna, Ohio. She was married to her loving husband, Tim Coleman for 49 years, and the couple had one child. Bonnie loved to cook, fish, drink coffee, hummingbirds, and watch sports with Tim, either on TV or supporting her grandchildren and great-grandchildren in their sporting activities, but most of all she loved her family and being with them anyway she could. She will be remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing her for the sweet soul she was and always knowing where you stood with her. She was never afraid to tell you what was on her mind and was always there for anyone that needed anything. A pillar in the family that left a lasting memory for generations to come. Bonnie is survived by her husband Tim and beloved dog Jenny; daughter, Evie (Tim) Craycraft; her grandson, Blaine Craycraft; her granddaughter, Amanda (Josh) Davy; sisters, Gerri Maxson and Margaret (Ray) Seeley; brother, Garland Mannon; five great-grandchildren, Easten, Josh, Bentli, Jace and Jhett; and many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her mother, Mandy Beck; father, James Lester; her loving sister, Shirley Winner; and brother, Leo Mannon. The family honored Bonnie’s request to be cremated and a private memorial will take place at a later date. The entire family is grateful for the condolences, and rest easy knowing she is in eternal glory. The family gratefully declines flowers, but prayers, condolences and memories are gladly accepted. Memorial donations may be made to FairHope Hospice and Palliative Care, 282 Sells Rd., Lancaster, Ohio 43130. Bope-Thomas Funeral Home in Somerset is entrusted with the arrangements.
