Betty Jean (Koehler) Miller

Betty Jean Miller, 97, of Somerset, passed away at 3:21 p.m. Wednesday, January 6, 2021 at Grant Medical Center in Columbus. Betty was born May 12, 1923 in Somerset, Ohio, the daughter of the late Hermit A. and Nancy E. (Pace) Koehler. She was a 1941 graduate of Somerset High School and attended Bliss Business College in Columbus. Betty was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church and was a devoted volunteer. She was a charter member of the Nightingale Mothers Club and a Cub Scout den mother. Betty is survived by her children, Richard (Susan) Miller of Somerset, David (Stefanie Dragonette) Miller of Somerset, Martin (Brenda Hanson) Miller of Mt. Perry, Anne (Dan) Klingler of Somerset, Sue (Ray) Longendyke of Roseville, Janet (Mark) Stout of Somerset, Mary Campbell of Somerset and Judy (Tim) Hayes of Caldwell; 37 grandchildren; 53 great-grandchildren; and 8 great-great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 67 years, Robert Miller; a son, Robert Miller; an infant great-grandson, Jonas Kearton; six brothers and five sisters. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, January 11, 2021 in Holy Trinity Catholic Cemetery in Somerset with Father Stephen Carmody as celebrant. Memorial contributions may be made to Holy Trinity School.
