Arthur Earl Wilson, 92, of Thornville, Ohio passed away on Saturday, March 1, 2025, at Altercare of Somerset. Arthur was born April 28, 1932, in Thornville, the son of the late Randolph and Edna (Leckrone) Wilson. He was a 1951 graduate of Thornville High School. He worked as a bus driver for Northern Local School District and operated a dairy farm. He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Mary (Goldsberry) Wilson; children, Diane Briggs, Wayne (Diana) Wilson, and Ed (Corrine) Wilson; six grandchildren, Carry Briggs and Craig (Ashley) Briggs, Ryan Wilson, Kenny (Lacy) Wilson, Ryley Stewart and Mika Toney; eight great-grandchildren, Kira, Rhiannon, Carter, Cason and Madilynn Briggs, Kenny Wilson, Alina and Hayden Stewart. Arthur was preceded in death by a sister, Helen Griffith, brother, Walter Wilson, and son-in-law John Briggs. Friends may call from 4-7 p.m. Monday, March 3, 2025 and one hour prior to the service at the Bope-Thomas Funeral Home in Somerset where services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, March 4, 2025, with Rev. David Helser officiating. Burial will follow in Olivet Cemetery.
