Anna Lee “Ann” (Garey) Perry, 86, of Columbus, Ohio, passed away on Friday, January 26, 2024, at Dublin Retirement Village, Dublin, Ohio. Ann was born March 9, 1937, in New Lexington, Ohio, the daughter of the late Luther and Hazel (Sherrick) Garey of Somerset, Ohio. She was a 1955 graduate of Somerset High School and a member of Atonement Lutheran Church in Columbus, Ohio. Ann was an auditor at Ohio Inspection Bureau before changing careers to become a dress store manager and was a talented stylist at coordinating women’s clothing, making beautiful floral arrangements, a wonderful artist and loved home decorating, especially using her favorite color “Taupe”. She is survived by her loving husband of 63 years, Eugene “Gene” Perry; daughter, Renae Lynn (Perry) Tufford of Apopka, Florida; granddaughter, Samantha Tufford of Altamonte Springs, Florida; and one brother, Jerry (Kathleen) Garey of Rocky River, Ohio. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Phillip “Phil” Perry. A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, February 1, 2024, in Highland Cemetery, St. Rt. 757, Glenford, Ohio. A celebration of life will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Thursday, February 8, 2024, at the Atonement Lutheran Church, 1621 Francisco Rd, Columbus, Ohio, 43220 with Rev. Richard Schneider officiating.
