Anen James "AJ" Layne

Anen James “AJ” Layne, passed away on Monday, October 12, 2020 at the age of 3, following a lifelong battle with progressive Epilepsy. AJ was born in Lancaster on July 10, 2017 to parents, Jereme and Tara Layne, joining sister Hallie and later to come, younger sister Blaire. He was the sweetest cuddle bug who loved car rides and listening to nursery rhymes. He loved to eat; steak was his favorite. After AJ was diagnosed with Lennox-Gastaut Syndrome at age 2, his condition worsened, through the increased seizures, pain and incapability to function, AJ would flash a rotten grin…and for a moment we could forget. AJ’s memory will forever be with his caregivers, friends and family. Love is everlasting from his parents Jereme and Tara, siblings Hallie and Blaire, caregivers Malia and Lauren, his grandparents James (Jody) and Denette (Mike), aunts, uncles and cousins, we love and appreciate you all. He is preceded in death by his great-grandpa Sonny and grandpa Anon Layne, Jr. AJ was the light of the Layne Family and will always shine bright. A celebration of life will be held at a later date honoring AJ with close family and friends.
