Amy K. (Clouse) Koblentz, 65, of Somerset, passed away Wednesday morning, December 24, 2025, at Genesis ER in Somerset. Amy was born January 9, 1960, in Zanesville, Ohio to the late Dr. Michael and Agnes (Noll) Clouse. She graduated from Holy Trinity Elementary, then Sheridan High School Class of 1978. She went on to graduate from Hocking Technical College earning her degree in Medical Records Technician. She retired from Genesis Medical Center. Amy loved music, playing in the Sheridan High School and Bowling Green University marching bands. Amy dearly loved her family. She is survived by her husband of 40 years, Jerry Koblentz, whom she married July 12, 1985; her son, Michael David “Mikey” Koblentz; her brothers, Dr. Michael (Chris) Clouse, Dr. Steven (Carol) Clouse, James (Paula) Clouse; her sisters, Patti (Charley) Saunders, Terri (Tim) Hill; Mary (Dwight) Brown; and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one brother, Charles Andrew Clouse. Friends may call from 1-4 p.m. Sunday, December 28, 2025, at the Bope-Thomas Funeral Home in Somerset. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. Monday, December 29, 2025, at Holy Trinity Catholic Church with Father Andre’ Joseph LaCasse O.P. as celebrant.
