Albert Allan (Bradley) Conner, 63, succumbed to injuries sustained in a fire at his residence in Apache Junction, AZ on Tuesday, May 18, 2021.
Al was born in Columbus, Ohio on July 28, 1957, to the late Carl Bradley, Sr. and Marilyn (Bradley) Conner. Al joined the U.S. Army, 101st Airborne Div., at the age of 18 to pursue his dream of becoming a paratrooper. Unfortunately, his time served was cut short due to an injury in ‘jump school’. He joined his stepfather’s construction business, Ken Conner and Sons, in Columbus, and worked with him until the business was dissolved. Al relocated to Arizona. His greatest enjoyment was riding his Harley Davidson throughout the Southwest and across country with his many friends in the Phoenix-Mesa area.
Al is survived by brothers, Carl (Carol) Bradley, Jr., Donald (Melinda) Bradley, Michael (Cathy) Conner; his Uncle Arthur ‘Bus’ (Dee) Bradley; Aunt Diane D’Epifanio (Jim Savage); several stepsisters, stepbrothers, nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents and stepparents, he was preceded in death by a nephew, Christopher Bradley; stepsisters, Joyce Conner and Karen Staton; and many beloved aunts and uncles.
A graveside service for family and friends will be held Saturday, June 19, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. in Kirkersville Cemetery, 399 E. Main St. (St. Rt. 40) Kirkersville, Ohio. Chaplain Carl Bradley, Jr. will preside over the memorial service for his brother. Military honors will be presented by the Gahanna American Legion Post 797 Honor Guard. Family and friends are invited to celebrate Al’s life and share memories at a luncheon immediately following the service at The Sunset Inn, 1060 National Rd. (St. Rt. 40), Hebron, Ohio.
