Thelma R. Love, 102, of Somerset, went to be with the Lord at 1:20 a.m. on Tuesday, February 20, 2018 at Homestead Center.
Thelma was born Oct. 12, 1915 near Bremen, Ohio, the daughter of the late John F. and Ida V. McWilliams Groff.
She attended the Somerset United Methodist Church since the 1960’s, and was active with the prayer chain.
Thelma is survived by her son, Robert J. Wolford of Ocean City, NJ; two grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; brothers and sisters, Vera Lathey of Lakeland, FL, Rev. Carl Groff of Lancaster, Marvene Stahly of Lancaster, Richard Groff of Circleville, and Betty (Dick) Barber of Lancaster.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Marvin L. Love (1974); two brothers, Chester and John Groff and two sisters, Erma Brown and Mary Florence Groff.
Friends may call from 10-11 a.m. Friday, February 23, 2018 at the Somerset United Methodist Church, 139 E. Main St., Somerset, Ohio, where services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday with Chaplain Kermit Welty officiating. Burial will follow in Somerset Cemetery.
