Ruth B. (Swinehart) Bussey

Ruth B. Bussey, 92, of Somerset, Ohio went home to be with the Lord at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, March 7, 2018 at Somerset Altercare. Ruth was born January 29, 1926 near Somerset, the daughter of the late Emmett R. and Bertha Jadwin Swinehart. She was a member of Fultonham Uniontown Baptist Church where she was a pianist. She is survived by one daughter, Loretta J. Bryant of Somerset; Louella Mason, Carolyn Searls and Vickie Robinson along with several other nieces, nephews and cousins; a step-granddaughter and step-great-grandson. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Haven E. Bussey, whom she married October 18, 1947 and who passed away September 13, 1998; a son-in-law, Larry Bryant; and two brothers, Ronald Joseph Swinehart and Kenneth Levi Swinehart. Friends may call from 12-2 p.m. Sunday, March 11, 2018 at the Bope-Thomas Funeral Home in Somerset where services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday with Todd Shiplett officiating.
