Ronald R. Paugh, 64, of Wonder Lake, Illinois, passed away peacefully in his home on Sunday, August 13, 2017.
Ron was a long-time resident of the area and was employed as a Senior Manager-Technical Service at Echo Incorporated in Lake Zurich, where he worked for more than 30 years. Ron was known for his wry sense of humor and his generosity to friends and family. He enjoyed an active life of international travel and had particular passion for riding his Victory motorcycle, reading, and the study of history.
Ron was preceded in death by his parents, Annabel H. Paugh and William O. Paugh. He is survived by his brother, Jerry R. Paugh, his wife Lorna, nephew Jeremy and niece Michaela of California; sister, Leslie J. Paugh, husband Ken and nephew Alex of Florida; sister, Robin R. Cutcher, husband Greg and nieces Erin, Allison and Lisa of Ohio; and an extended work family at Echo. He will be dearly missed.
Family and friends may gather for a memorial service and committal on Saturday, September 16, 2017 beginning at 10:00 a.m. at Mount Perry Presbyterian Church, 13099 Church St., Mount Perry, Ohio. Light refreshments will be served following the service.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be sent to the American Heart Association, P.O. Box 840692, Dallas, TX 75284-0692 in memory of Ron Paugh.
