Paul Joseph Shiplett

Paul Joseph Shiplett, 66, of Somerset, Ohio, passed away on Saturday, May 13, 2017 at approximately 10:50 a.m.
Paul was born July 18, 1950 in Somerset to Margorie Shiplett Wilson and the late Joseph Shiplett.
He was a 1968 graduate of Sheridan High School, and had served in the United States Army for two years upon graduation. Paul was a loving husband and devoted father. He was always willing to help anyone in need, and will be missed by many.
Paul is survived, in addition to his mother, by his wife, Debbie Hobbs Shiplett, whom he married August 2, 1975; two daughters, Tammy (Robert) Wolfe and Kimberly Shiplett; granddaughter, Kayla (Robert) Adams, great-grandsons, Zaden and Emerson Adams; brothers, Ron (Belinda) Shiplett, Vince Shiplett, Tim Shiplett; sisters, Marilyn (Dick) Murphy, Joanne Shiplett, Sharon (Joe) Fiore and Madonna (Mark) Shelly.
In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by several aunts, uncles and cousins.
A Memorial Mass of Celebration will be celebrated at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, May 17, 2017 at St. Joseph Catholic Church with Father Stephen Carmody as celebrant. Friends may call one hour prior to the service at the church. Graveside military honors will be provided by the Somerset American Legion Leo Ryan Post 58.
