Nolan was a great man who loved God, family, and the Glenford community. He was my Sunday School teacher for many years and volunteered to be our confirmation teacher. He was always special to me because he took the time to lead a group of us young people closer to God. Youth Fellowship, Christmas Caroling, and good times at Nolan and Joan' s home were the best times! He meant so much to our family as our mailman, electrician, and friend. His fingernails were always amazing when he used them for a screwdriver. He will definitely be missed by the whole community. I wish we could be there to express our sincere sympathy to Joan and his three girls.

It has been my pleasure to have known Nolan, a man that loved his family his country and his home town.
Nolan told the best stories of anyone I know except he would usually start laughing at his own stories before he could finish them, but they were great stories.

So sad and sorry God called Uncle Nolan home before Easter.  He was so special and loved everyone.  My sisters and I know how big his heart was and how important  he was to our mom, Glorine.  He was always there when my sisters and myself lost our husbands.  He will be missed so greatly by his daughters and his friends and family.  He loved the Glenford community so much and tried his best to do what he could for all.  I am so proud to say your are my uncle and I will never forget you.  He was proud that the son of a share cropper could accomplish so much and never expected praise.  RIP Uncle Nolan.  I love you.
