Nancy Lynn Fuleki (Kimmel), 75, of Somerset, Ohio, passed away Saturday, November 18, 2017.
Nancy was born December 23, 1941 in Columbus, Ohio, to the late William and Kathryn (Peyton) Kimmel.
A 1960 graduate of Linden McKinley, she attended Columbus Business University, then spent 10 years as an Executive Secretary with Nationwide Insurance. Always seeking challenge and adventure, Nancy became a United States Foreign Service Officer, posted first in Paris, France, then Brussels, Belgium, in support of the US delegation to NATO.
Nancy returned to Columbus to serve as a Director of Graphics at Cardinal Industries, before leaving to co-found her own printing business with her new husband, Gil Fuleki. Nancy’s tenacious entrepreneurial spirit helped her found and operate numerous businesses throughout her long and successful career.
A beloved mother and grandmother, Nancy enjoyed cooking, sewing, painting, ceramics, gardening, hybridizing collectible daylilies, caring for animals of all shapes and sizes, and coaching her children in competitive horseback riding.
Nancy is preceded in death by her parents and her daughter, Heather Nicole Fuleki (1973-2005).
Nancy is survived by her husband Gil, sons Aaron and Andy, daughter Shari Kaufhold, and grandchildren Ross, Zack, Andrea, Lauren, Brooke, and Eszti.
The family will receive friends on Friday, November 24, 2017 from 4:00 p.m.- 6:00 p.m. at the Bope-Thomas Funeral Home in Somerset where a memorial service will follow at 6:00 p.m., followed by dinner.
