Miriam Alice "Mimmie" Spohn

Miriam Alice “Mimmie” Spohn, 87, of Somerset, died at 3:51 p.m. Wednesday, December 12, 2018 at her residence surrounded by her family and special nurse Donna. Mimmie was born October 7, 1931 in Zanesville, Ohio, the daughter of the late Forest C. and Helen R. Swick Spohn. She was known for trotting to all the local businesses in town. She is survived by her sister and caretaker, Rose M. Self of Somerset and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Robert; and brother-in-law, Dale Self. A special thanks to all of her caretakers at Hospice and a special thanks to Donna and Brittany. Friends may call from 2-4 p.m. Sunday, December 16, 2018 at the Bope-Thomas Funeral Home in Somerset where services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, December 17, 2018 with the Rev.
