Mary Alice (Barnhart) Large

Mary Alice Large, 87, of Zion Rd., Rushville, died at 3:10 a.m. Wednesday, October 9, 2019 at her residence. Mary was born August 29, 1932 in Long Bottom, Ohio, the daughter of the late Joseph E. and Martha Pickering Barnhart. She was a member of the Church of Christ in Lancaster, Ohio, a homemaker, and loved antique bottles. She is survived by two sons, Benjamin S. (Linda) Large and Daniel (Regina) Large, and a daughter, Teresa Large, all of Rushville, Ohio; 11 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; and a brother, Max (Jo) Barnhart of Somerset. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Benjamin S. Large (1988); a great-grandson; four brothers and seven sisters. There will be a cremation at Mary’s request. A memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, October 16, 2019 at the East Side Church of Christ, 144 Sells Rd., Lancaster, Ohio 43130.
