Jerry N. Lones

Jerry N. Lones, 76, of Heath, formerly of Junction City, died at 5:50 a.m. Tuesday, February 13, 2018 at his residence. Jerry was born January 18, 1942 in Junction City, Ohio, the son of the late Robert R. and Zola Ruth Klingler Lones. He was a member of the New Lebanon Lutheran Church and was retired from Box USA in Newark after many years of service. He loved fishing, hunting and going to the farm in Somerset. He loved his family from his wife to his great-grandchildren. He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Linda Hampshire Lones of the home; two sons, Jeff (Dee) Lones and Mark Lones, both of Junction City; three daughters, Annette (Billy) Rice of Zanesville, Pam (Doug) Decot of Junction City and Lisa (Scott) Mortland of Centerburg; 15 grandchildren, Nathan, Renee, Tyler, Ethan, Aaron, Emily, Derek, Travis, Kelsey, Matt, Joey, Chris, Jessica, Leighann and Kristy; 13 great-grandchildren, Evan, Tucker, Cruze, Acer, Ayelen, Eilley, Kaden, Kaleb, Jocee, Jurnee, Claire, Camryn and Zade; and two brothers, Dave Lones and Dan Lones, both of Lancaster. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Robert Lones. Friends may call from 10 a.m. to 12 noon on Saturday, February 17, 2018 at the Somerset United Methodist Church, 139 E. Main St., Somerset, Ohio where services will be held at 12:00 noon with Rev.
