Helen June McCoy, 88, formerly of Somerset, died at 10:00 p.m. Saturday, June 23, 2018 at Country Lane Gardens.
June was born June 20, 1930 in Lancaster, Ohio, the daughter of the late Hiram and Mary Hupp Ruffner. She was a lifelong homemaker and worked as a caregiver in different nursing homes over the course of her life.
June is survived by her children, Mark A. McCoy of Hilliard, Bruce A. McCoy of Zanesville, Randy Joe (Leslie) McCoy of Elliottsburg, PA, Cheryl (Jim) Eveland of Crooksville, Todd (Denise) McCoy of Rushville and Regina (Ron) Barnette of Bloomington, IL; ten grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth A. McCoy (1976); and 12 brothers and sisters.
A caring cremation will be conducted according to June’s wishes. A graveside service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday, June 29, 2018 in West Rushville Cemetery.
