Florence Householder, 89, of Somerset, Ohio died at 4:00 a.m. Sunday, November 26, 2017 at her residence.
Florence was born February 14, 1928 in Junction City, Ohio, the daughter of the late Manus and Julia (Schriner) O’Brien. She retired from Rubbermaid Corp, and enjoyed spending time with her family, friends and dogs, and going to yard sales and thrift stores looking for treasure.
She is survived by 3 sons, Robert O’Brien of Louisville, KY, Richard Householder and Rodney (Vicki) Householder all of Junction City; 5 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; best friend, companion and caretaker, Allen Roberts of Somerset; his son, Grant (Cory) Roberts of Texas; his daughter, Sheila (Pharen) Bell of Oklahoma; and long time friend, Mercy Stewart of Texas.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by 3 brothers, Kenneth, Bernard and James O’Brien; and 4 sisters, Grace Taylor, Dorothy Vanatta, Mary Leach and Margaret Demello.
A memorial service will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, November 30, 2017 at St. Patrick Catholic Church in Junction City, Ohio with Father Daniel Swartz as celebrant. Burial will follow in St. Patrick Catholic Cemetery. Friends may call one hour prior to the service at the church.
