To the Axline/Lattimer Family:   I am sorry to hear of the death of your mother, Doris.  As pastor of the Olivet Church of the Brethren, I learned to know the whole family and enjoyed the fellowship with each one.  Doris was a special friend of me and my family.  I can imagine she and Judy have found each other along with many others who have passed into their eternal home.  I share my condolences to each of you and hold you in my thoughts and prayers at this time.

So sorry to hear about Doris.  She always had a smile on her face.  What a lovely person.  I knew she was at Chapel Grove and was going to drop in on her but never did. I wish I had.
God Bless all of you.

Sandy so sorry for your loss.  I actually just lost my mother a couple of weeks ago, she was 90.  I know how hard this is for you all.  Praying for you and your family.

My deepest sympathies and condolences to the whole family. The world is a better place because of Doris Axline (Foucht) Lattimer's presence here for 93 years. Her smiling face, her kind gestures, and her gentle voice had a way of drawing you in when one was in her presence. She was not deserving of some of the very sad events in her life, but she handled them in such a Christian manner and rose again to live the life God meant her to demonstrate to all around her. There is no doubt in my mind that God already has a place for her in his Kingdom and has welcomed her with open arms!!  God Bless you and keep you in his grasp until we all meet again!! We should not sorrow, but rejoice in her time God allowed her to share with us!!

Doris was a joy to know and when I was her pastor, she always kept me on my toes.  Heaven is a richer place now that she is there.

I'm sorry for your families loss. Doris always had such a wonderful smile and kindness that no matter how your day was going she always could make it brighter. I know she made my time at Sheridan (1982-1986)brighter. She will be missed by many. My thoughts and prayers go out to all of your family.

My sincere sympathy to the family. May you find comfort in your loving memories, and in God's promise to one day soon "swallow up death forever" and "wipe away the tears from all faces." (Isaiah 25:8)

Dear Lattimer family,

I am so sorry to hear of the loss of your Mother.  I attended Sheridan High School from 1969-1973 and your mom was one of the secretaries in the office.  I will never forget her smile and kindness through the years at Sheridan.  As I would run in to her out in the community, she never failed to remember my name or to say "hello' and ask about me and my family.  We always shared a few laughs.  I just loved her.  Doris was a very special lady.  My prayers are with all of you.
