Annabelle L. Grubb

Annabelle L. Grubb, 101, of Oakthorpe, died at 3:15 p.m. Tuesday, July 24, 2018 at Main St. Terrace in Lancaster, Ohio. Annabelle was born December 5, 1916 in Richland Twp., the daughter of the late Lewis Richard and Minnie Stoltz Grubb. She was an 87 year member of the Oakthorpe Christian Union Church and a member of Women’s Christian Temperance Union for over 50 years. She was a domestic servant for many years in the Lancaster area. Surviving are a niece and five nephews, Mike Foster, Martha Roby, Verne Grubb, John Grubb, Rev. Ron Grubb and Steve Grubb. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three nephews, Theodore Foster, David Grubb and Tom Grubb; one niece, Nina Donahue; three brothers, Marvin, Fred and Robert Grubb; and a sister, Frances Foster. Services will be held at 12:00 p.m. Friday, July 27, 2018 at Oakthorpe Church, 6090 Oakthorpe Rd., Thornville, Ohio with Pastor Brad Jones officiating. Burial will follow in Oakthorpe Cemetery.
