Sandra Kay (Ricketts) Moore

Sandra Kay Moore, 83, of Somerset, Ohio passed away peacefully, at her home on Monday, March 4, 2024. Sandra was born September 7, 1940, in Adelphi, Ohio, the daughter of the late Maurice E. and Mary Evelyn (Spangler) Ricketts. She worked in the Healthcare Field as a Healthcare Aide and later as a Medical Supply Purchasing Agent for a nursing facility most of her life. She had many hobbies such as sewing, crocheting, playing cards, reading books, putting jigsaw puzzles together, watching historical movies, traveling, and camping. Sandra enjoyed dinners out, and most holidays especially Thanksgiving and Christmas. She is survived by her children, Mona Lisa (Dennis) Haverstock, Thomas Russell (Kara) Guilliams, and Teresa (Eric) Gingerich; two brothers, Ronnie (Nancy) Ricketts and Gary (Susan) Ricketts; two sisters, Belinda Boley, and Vicki (Rodney) Householder; Several grandchildren, great grandchildren, one great great granddaughter, and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Angel lee Guilliams, a son, John D. Moore, and a brother-in-law, Russell Boley. A graveside service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, March 12, 2024, in New Lebanon Cemetery with Ronnie Ricketts officiating.
