Frances Lillian (Snider) Deely

Frances Lillian (Snider) Deely, 91, of Columbus, Ohio, passed away Thursday, March 14, 2024, in Indiana. Frances was born June 24, 1932, in Junction City, Ohio, the daughter of the late Charles Webster and Julia (Henderson) Snider. She was a 1953 graduate of Holy Trinity High School and attended and graduated from The Good Samaritan Hospital School of Nursing. In addition to raising six children, Frances was a Registered Nurse and Nursing Administrator, enjoying a 39-year career with Mount Carmel East Hospital in Columbus, Ohio. She was a devout Catholic, belonging to St. Philip the Apostle Church and was a member of the Women’s Altar Society. She was always a compassionate caregiver to family and relatives, and her desired mission was to always make everyone else’s life a little bit better. Frances is survived by her children, Julianne (Brian) Deely-Frost and Kathleen (Steven) Spencer of Fishers, Indiana, William D. (Donna) Deely of Pickerington, Ohio; a daughter-in-law, Elizabeth Deely of Collierville, TN; a son-in-law, Edwin Miller of Baltimore, Ohio; 15 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William E. Deely; two sons, Michael Albert Deely and Daniel Patrick Deely; a daughter, Mary Maureen Deely; and a granddaughter, Katherine Marie “Katie” Deely. Friends may call from 9:30-10:30 a.m. Monday, March 18, 2024, at the Bope-Thomas Funeral Home in Somerset. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. Monday at Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Somerset with Father Andre’ Joseph LaCasse, O.P. as celebrant.
