Cora “Louise” (Randolph) Satterfield, 90, of Somerset, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, June 17, 2017.
Louise was born September 10, 1926 to the late Abraham E. and Mary E. (Yantes) Bigham of Somerset. She was a member of the Grange and a devoted parishioner of the Fairfield Baptist Church in Thurston, Ohio. Louise had served her church as a Sunday School Teacher, choir member, treasurer and Deaconess. She was dedicated to her family most of all, having been the caregiver for her late sons-in-law, Ronald Boyd and Harold “Chesty” King. Louise was a loving mother to her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
She is survived by her four children, Linda King of Newark, Sandy (Gary) Bennett of Corning, Merry Boyd of Chandler, AZ and Michael (Jennifer) Satterfield of Somerset; a sister, Patricia Haught of Zanesville; 13 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren and 6 great-great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents and sons-in-law, Louise was preceded in death by an infant son, Harley C. Randolph Jr.; her first husband, Harley C. Randolph; her second husband, Ray V. Satterfield; sisters, Thelma Snider, Jean Dupler and Marlene Metcalf; brothers, Richard Bigham and Michael Bigham; and two grandsons, Anthony Joseph Brown and Gary Lee Bennett Jr.
A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held at the Fairfield Baptist Church in Thurston, Ohio at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, June 22, 2017 with Pastor Marvin Beculhimer officiating. Burial will follow in Somerset Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Fairfield Baptist Church, 7991 Old Millersport Rd., P.O. Box 247, Thurston, Ohio 43157.

I loved dear Louise Satterfield like a second Mom. I grew up with her girls, Linda, Sandy and Merry, we went to school together, and their home was like my second home at times. Louise will always hold a special place in my heart.
